Online Class Resources

MESSAGE FROM THE FREMONT MANAGEMENT TEAM:

Fremont College was founded on the principle that education is the foundation for growth whereas students should have the opportunity to develop their full potential. In the wake of the Corona Virus pandemic, which recently shut down school districts, businesses, restaurants, entertainment venues, and higher education institutions across the United States, Fremont college remains committed to ensuring students have options to purse their education while remaining safe.

Effective Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 — traditional courses that meet on ground in person for the Massage Therapy (MT) Sports Rehabilitation Therapy (SRT), and Paralegal programs — will meet online utilizing Big Blue Button via Canvas software. Fremont College currently utilizes Canvas for ACCSC approved distance learning programs in Business, Digital Marketing, General Education, Healthcare, and master’s in Business Administration programs.

To limit in-person learning due to federal mandates, ground courses scheduled to meet Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am to 10:50 pm, will transition to the online delivery format effective Wednesday, March 18th, 2020. Instead of physically meeting during pre-set course times, students will keep their existing schedule and log in remotely using Big Blue Button in Canvas. Students will utilize this online platform to participate in a lecture with a guided discussion each week during their regularly scheduled course time frame.

Given the national quarantine recommendations due to the Coronavirus, this will be evaluated weekly to determine if classes will resume on ground during April 2020.A description of programs/classes impacted programs are as follows:
